here are all my hourlies for Hourly Comics Day!
past hourlies are chillin’ over here
It’s another theme-week this week, this time featuring your Witchsona!
Pinecone Witches frolic around forests accidentally tripping over branches and telling jokes to the local trickster. (we are buddies.)
It’s Goblin Week!
Here is a winter goblin, who is very much not enjoying watching the rabbit herd in the snow.
currently waiting for the pizza delivery person; here’s some doodles from my instagram!
Do you smoke? I just noticed a lot of cigarettes/smoking in your art work. Not really relevant but just curious.
Nope, never have never will! I think I wound up using it a lot for “pattern-y” purposes. (à la Mission Hill) I don’t know if I have a better reason than that. My mother gave me a hard time about it once and I wound up quoting her, “I don’t like that characters smoke in this”, on the back cover of my Water Winter Wonderland book. (she told me I was weird)
2013: the year of dead dogs and scribbly line textures
It was totally unintentional, but the first 6 months are nothing but digital art while the last 6 are all traditional pieces! This was a weird year with a lot of moving/traveling. I welcomed 2013 in Montreal, (while living in Connecticut) spent the summer in my hometown in Michigan, and am now cozy in Chicago. Phew!
As always, thank you, dear followers, for all your support, it means the world to me. Here’s to an awesome 2014!
